Unionized employees have rejected the latest offer tabled by City of Quesnel management.
The City had offered to employees represented by CUPE Local 1050 a three-year contract with a zero percent change of pay in year one, followed by a one-per-cent increase in year two and a two-per-cent increase in year three.
The City had also offered additional benefit improvements the equivalent of an additional half-per-cent increase starting in the first year.
Of the 114 eligible to vote, 91 cast ballots with 76 voting no.
