City of Prince George co-hosting webinar on hydrogen sector

The free webinar will focus on the potential of the hydrogen sector in Prince George and the province.

The City of Prince George will be co-hosting a free webinar on May 24 about B.C.’s emerging hydrogen sector.

The webinar, titled Supporting BC's Hydrogen Sector with Geological Research and Community Action, is being held in partnership with Geoscience BC, Canadian Hydrogen Fuel Cell Association and the BC Hydrogen Office. The webinar will focus on the potential for the hydrogen energy in Prince George and the province.

“The City will work with partners throughout the region to streamline project permitting, increase the adoption and knowledge of hydrogen among industry, including commercial producers and users, as well as the general public, and increase investment and economic development in the region,” information released by the City of Prince George  said.

The webinar will include presentations by David Coburn of the BC Hydrogen Office, Richard Truman and Randy Hughes of Geoscience BC and City of Prince George economic development manager Deklan Corstanje.
