During the last Citizen poll we asked "what should the City of Prince George do about the wages and benefits of the management team at city hall?"
Readers strongly suggested that "pay should be in line with other similar cities in B.C." taking 39 per cent and 251 votes.
"City should work towards paying top staff at lower rate more in line with regional district" followed with 28 per cent and 178 votes.
Pollsters thought the "executive pay policy needs to be changed" and voted accordingly, taking 17 per cent for 107 votes.
Interestingly enough 11 per cent and 73 voters thought "pay is fine but should only rise at the same rate as unionized staff."
Trailing behind at four per cent and 27 votes was "nothing, they work for every penny." There was a total of 636 votes. Remember this is not a scientific poll.
Next question is "what letter grade would you give John Horgan and the B.C. NDP after one year in power?"
