All city fields were closed early Thursday afternoon due to the week's soggy weather.
The City of Prince George said civic fields are closed until further notice "out of concern for public safety."
There's also the fear that field use will damage the turf while it sits over-saturated.
City staff will inspect the fields again Friday to decide if the fields should stay closed or reopen ahead of the weekend.
