The Prince George Citizen's Auction Mall is live with items closing as soon as Thursday with the event ending Sunday night.
There are hundreds of items on offer for as much as 85 per cent off list price and items are added daily.
"The Auction Mall offers a variety of merchandise, services and gift certificates with many new merchants participating during this money-saving event," Cheryl Stewart, advertising director for The Citizen, said.
"We have everything from getaways, houseboat vacations, a boat, a tent trailer, restaurant gift certificates, furniture and tires, home renovations and landscaping and there's even toys for the kids like a remote control car and a kiddie quad. There's no kitchen sink this time but we do have the makings for a great brunch with new merchant Birch and Boar Butchery putting four kilos of bacon up for auction - now that's a bacon party!"
Registration for Auction Mall only requires your name, phone number and email address. No need to give out your credit card number until it's time to pay for the deals. Winning bidders can pay a visit to the Prince George Citizen office once the auction is complete.
Depending on a participant's bidding style some people might want to browse through the hundreds of items now and place their reserve bid and as others bid, their bid automatically increases until their maximum bid has been reached.
"That way people can make their bids and walk away," Stewart added.
Others like the excitement of bidding interactively during the last moments of an auction where it's not over until the last bid has not been bested for five minutes, she added.
"There's something for everyone..." Stewart said. "People will find the perfect gift for Mother's Day with spa items, fashions, and flowers."
