The Prince George Citizen is inviting readers to put in a good word for their favourite businesses.
The 2018 Readers Choice Awards is offering an opportunity to vote for their top choice in any of 150 categories - ranging from restaurants and nightspots to retailers to services. There is also a "miscellaneous treasures" category where you can vote for such items as most community minded retailer and favourite first date location.
The winners in each category will be celebrated and showcased in the Citizen.
"These businesses deserve recognition for the great job that they do," Citizen advertising director Cheryl Stewart said. "And if they're your favourite business, it's a way to tell everyone else."
Anyone who votes in at least 10 categories will also be entered in a draw for a gift certificate to a local restaurant. Two will be available for those who vote online and two for those who do so through the Citizen's print edition.
The entry form is found in the daily edition and the Citizen Extra and online at pgc.cc/readerschoicepg. The deadline for entries is August 10.
