Day one of the Salvation Army Kettle Campaign had a total of $2,037 with half of the 16 kettles manned. Wayne Wood, campaign co-ordinator, sends along kudos to Diversified Transportation's school bus drivers, staff and management will man all kettles from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. between bus runs on Nov. 25. Diversified management and social committee are offering prizes to the top three people logging the most volunteer hours from now to Dec. 11. They are challenging other transportation companies to meet or beat their total.
