Fraud-related charges have been approved against two women following a police pullover of their vehicle two weekends ago.

Allison Marjorie Gauthier and Janice Alana Gauthier have both been charged with fraud under $5,000 and remain in custody.

They have also been charged with three counts of breach of an undertaking or recognizance while Corey George Chute, who was also arrested at the scene, faces one count of breach of an undertaking or recognizance.

They were arrested Aug. 24 when the RCMP's integrated road safety unit pulled over a vehicle and found a significant amount of property alleged to have been fraudulently obtained.

RCMP believe the two may have been trying to purchase mid- to high-end electronic items through purchase orders and have advised businesses to be aware of invoices numbered 698160 to 698170.

RCMP had also been searching for a third woman but have since determined it was one of the suspects who was arrested.
