Charges laid in June rollover

A Prince George man has been charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm from a single-vehicle rollover that RCMP have said left a passenger in the car seriously injured.

A Prince George man has been charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm from a single-vehicle rollover that RCMP have said left a passenger in the car seriously injured.

Jan William Sharpe, 40, also faces a count of failure or refusal to provide a provide a sample from the June 19 incident in the 13000 block of Miworth Road.

Both Sharpe and the passenger, a 20-year-old man, were transported to the University Hospital of Northern B.C. following the crash, which occurred at about 8: 30 p.m., RCMP said at the time.

Sharpe made a first appearance in Prince George provincial court this week.
