Chamber of Commerce set for all candidates debate

A federal all-candidates forum is set for Monday evening at the College of New Caledonia in room 1-306. The forum will feature the Cariboo-Prince George candidates from 5 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

A federal all-candidates forum is set for Monday evening at the College of New Caledonia in room 1-306.

The forum will feature the Cariboo-Prince George candidates from 5 p.m. to 7:15 p.m., and the Prince George-Peace River candidates afterwards following a short break.

The forum will feature prepared questions and rebuttal, as well as questions from the audience if time permits.

The event is organized by the Prince George Chamber of Commerce, the Northern Real Estate Board, the Immigrant and Multicultural Society and the Prince George Construction Association.

The candidates in Cariboo-Prince George are Conservative incumbent Dick Harris, Liberal candidate Sangreeta Lali, Green Party candidate Heidi Redl, Independent Jon Ronan, Christian Heritage Party candidate Harry Thiessen and NDP candidate Jon Van Barneveld.

The candidates in Prince George-Peace River are NDP Lois Boone, Green Party Hilary Crowley, Liberal Ben Levine and Conservative Bob Zimmer.
