B.C. Chamber of Commerce president and CEO John Winter hopes the anti-HST campaign will die a quiet death, but he acknowledges the future on this is uncertain.
The B.C. chamber is leading the Smart Tax Alliance, a coalition of 30 business groups that is supporting the harmonized sales tax. The alliance is planning to launch a marketing campaign touting the business benefits of the HST, as well as offering support to Liberal MLAs.
