Traffic at the busy intersection of 5th Avenue and Central Street is being diverted while police attend to downed street lights.
Late this morning, an accident ended with a vehicle plowing into the traffic lights and dislodging one of the standards.
Injuries appear minimal at this time, according to RCMP, however it's unclear how long it will take for the mess to be cleared and traffic to return to normal.
