The large congregation of Westwood Mennonite Brethren Church celebrates 50 years of worship this year in Prince George.
Stan Schellenberg, who's organizing anniversary celebrations, said the church that began in a basement chapel with about 35 members has grown to a congregation that averages 700 to 800 people every Sunday.
