The first Community Skate Day to celebrate winter will be held Jan. 16 at the Prince George Railway and Forestry Museum.
Bring a non-perishable food item for the Salvation Army Food Bank as your admission. The event from 1 to 3 p.m. includes hot chocolate, roasting of hot dogs and s'mores on a bonfire and rides on the Cottonwood Railway. Call Rangit Gill at 250-563-7351 for more information.
