The Women North Network is inviting everyone to celebrate International Women’s Day by attending events and a celebration on March 5, 2024.
People are invited to tune into Senior Moments on CFIS 93.1FM community radio at 1 p.m. for a discussion and celebration of International Women’s Day with Northern Feminist Institute Research and Evaluation (Northern FIRE) leadership team members: professors Dawn Hemingway, Jacqueline Holler and Indrani Margolin.
There is a Zoom presentation from 4:15 p.m. entitled Women’s Health, Women’s Bodies, Women’s Rights, a presentation and discussion about reproductive health with Professors Dawn Hemingway and Jacqueline Holler.

There is an International Women’s Day Open House celebration, discussion and treats and the UNBC Faculty Association lounge at 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
