Claims that a cardboard disposal ban is going in at the Foothills Landfill are true.
Claims that the ban will begin in June are false.
The issue came to light Sunday when a recycling company new to Prince George told The Citizen they would have nowhere to dispose of the cardboard they collected, since the private processor in the region refused to do business with them and the landfill wouldn't take it anymore either.
