Cancer care in the North

Pam Tobin, with the project management office of Northern Cancer Control Strategy, will offer an over view of how NCCS aims to enhance cancer control outcomes in northern B.C.

Pam Tobin, with the project management office of Northern Cancer Control Strategy, will offer an over view of how NCCS aims to enhance cancer control outcomes in northern B.C. in conjunction with the health ministry, BC Cancer Agency, Northern Health and Provincial Health Services Authority.

Tobin will be the guest lecturer at the Railway and Forestry Museum May 11 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. during the community interest lecture series.

She will touch on a number of topics such as the new regional cancer centre, cancer control outcomes, full spectrum of cancer care and existing programs already in place. Admission is free with a donation to the Salvation Army Food Bank.
