Mervin Lynn Walkus, a 38-year-old First Nations male, is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for being unlawfully at large.
The arrest warrant was issued after Walkus did not return to his designated residence in Prince George.
Police are asking the public to help locate him but warn not to approach him as he is considered violent.
Walkus has a long and violent criminal record. He has known associates in Port Hardy and the Lower Mainland.
Walkus is described as five-foot-one, 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos on his right arm and forearm.
