Caledonia Nordic seeking volunteers for high profile Prince George events

The club will be hosting three big events in the coming years and needs to recruit volunteers

Caledonia Nordic ski club is looking for volunteers as it gears up to host three high profile events in 2023 and 2024.

The first one is the 2023 Nordiq Canada Selection Trials and Nordiq Cup (COC) is taking place January 18 - 21, 2023 and is a highly prestigious national competition awarded and sanctioned by Nordiq Canada.

It attracts top Junior (U20) and U23 cross country skiers from all across Canada who will be competing for a coveted spot on the National team to represent Canada at the World Junior /U23 Nordic Championships being hosted in Whistler from January 27 – February 5, 2023.

Approximately 150 to 200 volunteers will be needed to run this National event in January.

Volunteers are needed for various positions in the field of play such as stadium set-up and in the race office as well as for the front of house for venue, parking and transportation, hosting and crowd control marshalling.
