Bylaw needed to limit political signs

Every four years, we go to the polls and vote. What happens before has me concerned. Over the years, I, as a taxpayer, have seen political signage increase.

Do not get me wrong, because I realize that some advertisement is necessary, but what's happening now is crazy. I would like the city to enact a bylaw that would control this huge mess.

I for one do not hate the big signs at major intersections. The amount of lawn signs on city boulevards is untidy and a waste of money. I suggest if political parties have this much money to waste, then maybe they should consider donating some of it to the homeless. Lawn signs should be just that, and put on private property with the owner's approval. It's time to move on his issue.
