If the results from Thursday's two byelections are a sign of things to come, the next general provincial election is shaping up to be quite the fight in University of Northern British Columbia political science professor Jason Morris's opinion.
Although he stressed byelections are not "necessarily referendums on the government as a whole," Morris said that while the NDP won both races, the outcomes indicate the Liberals may not be in as much trouble as first thought while the Conservatives have work to do.
