A group of four young people wearing masks “mob robbed” the BX Cold Beer & Wine Store at about 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, according to RCMP.
Surveillance footage posted on the BX Pub’s Facebook page shows six suspects approaching the store, though only four are believed to have entered and carried out the robbery.
The teens stormed the store and made off with several hundred dollars’ worth of vodka before fleeing, said store owner Justin Mousseau.
“It’s a pretty brazen group of people,” Mousseau said in an interview with The Citizen.
Prince George RCMP are investigating and working to identify the suspects.
“It’s an ongoing investigation,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper. “There have been no threats or violence reported.”
