BC Parks is offering a free bus ride to Purden Lake Provincial Park for the opening of the new playground on Saturday.
It will leave the BC Parks compound, 4051-18th Ave, at 9 a.m. and return at 1 p.m. The opening ceremony runs from 10 a.m. to noon.
"The bus is wheelchair accessible and we are hoping it will provide an opportunity for families and children to access the event in cases where they might not otherwise be able to," BC Parks said in a notice.
There is limited space on the bus so it will be filled on a first-come first-serve bases. To reserve a spot email [email protected] or call the BC Parks office at 250-614-9911.
