Where there is fire, there doesn't have to be smoke.
PGAIR will be hosting a Burn it Smart Workshop this Saturday to provide homeowners with best practices for enjoying wood heat this winter.
Topics will include firewood storage and how to get more heat and less smoke out of your woodstove.
The free workshop runs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at St. John's Ambulance at 470 Third Ave. Call 250-645-6225 to register. The first 40 participants to arrive will receive a $50 gift certificate from PGAIR.
The workshop is being offered under the provincial Wood Stove Exchange Program.
