A rural residence was the target of a break-and-enter on Monday. A witness got a look at the suspect during the incident, but police have so far not located the burglar.

The theft happened just after 4 p.m. on Hubert Road, said Prince George RCMP spokesman Cpl. Craig Douglass, which is north of the city at the far end of North Kelly Road, a short distance west of the Hart Highway.

"Officers determined that a ladder was used to access a window that was pried open to gain entry to the residence," he said.

Taken from the residence were two Norco mountain bikes, some jewelry and an X-Box game console.

A witness described the suspect as a clean cut, Caucasian male in his early 20s. He was driving a loud, small black car.
