Two brothers are wanted by Prince George police after an incident Sunday.
Mounties responded to a home in the Ferndale neighbourhood east of the city and now alleged kidnapping, stolen items and a marijuana grow-operation are connected to four suspects. Two were arrested at the time, and Francois Christiaan Meerholz and Dillan Meerholz are being sought.
This case pertains to a report received by police Sunday evening. Several Mounties took part in the response to the information.
"[We] located an adult male victim suffering from serious, but non-life threatening injuries," said Prince George RCMP spokesman Cpl. Craig Douglass. "It is believed that the victim was being held for a number of days in a residence in the rural community."
The man was transported by the BC Ambulance Service to the University Hospital of Northern BC for treatment.
"While searching the residence for other suspects and victims, a small marijuana grow operation was located along with stolen property," Douglass said.
A 32-year-old male suspect was arrested at the scene and a second suspect, a 35-year-old man, was arrested Monday at about noon. Police also learned information suggesting the two Meerholz men, aged 24 and 22, were also connected to the allegations.
