Brothers arrested following report of suspicious persons

A pair of brothers were arrested and remain in custody after RCMP were called to a report early Wednesday morning of two men for unlocked vehicles in a parking lot on Commercial Crescent.

A pair of brothers were arrested and remain in custody after RCMP were called to a report early Wednesday morning of two men for unlocked vehicles in a parking lot on Commercial Crescent.

Both William Gerald McBride, 40, and Christopher Eugene McBride, 33, have been charged with resisting arrest, possessing break-in instruments and breaching a release order while the latter has also been charged with breaching probation.

They were arrested after RCMP were called to the scene at about 5:20 a.m. The two tried to flee, RCMP, but where soon apprehended with the help of a police service dog.

William McBride is from Prince George and Eric McBride recently lived in Maple Ridge and Victoria.
