A former Prince George man charged with second-degree murder made an appearance in Victoria provincial court on Thursday.

Joshua Tyler Bredo, 26, is accused of stabbing to death Daniel Jordan Levesque, 20, during an altercation at a Cormorant Street condominium on Aug. 3.

Levesque, an aspiring 20-year-old musician from Revelstoke, died in hospital after an altercation at the condominium.

According to a Victoria media report, an agent for Bredo told the court there are issues with disclosure. He asked for an adjournment to set a date for a preliminary inquiry.

Bredo, now in custody at Vancouver Island Regional Correctional Centre, next schedule to appear in court on Nov. 22.
