Prince George RCMP have some good leads in respect to the recent break-ins occurring in the city.

Reports received by police describe a female and male going door-to-door asking questions and portraying themselves as surveyors, said RCMP Cst. Leslie Smith, media communications officer.

"When asked, the suspects are unable to produce identification or material related to their cause. "One suspect will watch from the street while the other approaches the residence," Smith said.

The female is described as having long, blonde hair, in her 20s and wearing a ball cap. The man is described as having reddish brown, curly hair and is tall and skinny.

Another report indicates a male suspect who parks his vehicle fairly close to a residential area and once a house has been deemed accessible, the suspect parks his vehicle in the driveway and loads it up with heavy items.

One witness said she called police because "something just didn't seem right about them," said Smith, who encourages the public a keep a watchful eye out in their neighbourhood and report any suspicious people, activity or vehicles that don't belong in their area.
