The Prince George Fire Fighters' Boot Drive for Muscular Dystrophy raised $25,000.
The total, released Monday, was raised over 24 hours in September when fire fighters were out seeking donations at various spots around the city.
The money will be used to improve the quality of life for people with neuromuscular disorders by purchasing mobility equipment, providing support services and funding research.
