Scott Bone is the new chief executive officer for the Prince George Construction Association.
Bone was previously the city's supply and fleet services manager for more than 20 years and, most recently, was employed by TransCanada Pipelines as the local contract representative.
Board chairs Iain Elder and Ken Morland described Bone as a "results-oriented, strategic leader"
Bone, who began his new role on October 1, replaces outgoing president Roz Thorn who announced her retirement earlier this year after 48 years at the association.
