The body of an Aldergrove man was recovered from Elliott Lake on Monday evening after he disappeared while fishing over the weekend.
Members of Fort St. James Search and Rescue found the man's body at about 6:15 p.m.
Family members had alerted Fort St. James RCMP at about 4 p.m. on Sunday, saying he was last seen fishing from his boat in the lake, which has a maximum depth of 90 feet.
The boat was found floating with no sign of the man or his fishing gear.
The name of the 67-year-old was not released.
Elliot Lake is located 150 kilometres northwest of Fort St. James off the Leo Creek Forest Service Road.
The matter has been handed over to the B.C. Coroners Service.
