Prince George Search and Rescue located the body of a woman on Friday morning along the shore of Willow River.
Search efforts began late Thursday afternoon for a missing 46-year-old woman who was believed to have fallen in the river without a lifejacket. Search and rescue personnel along with a helicopter and search dogs were deployed to the scene, but the search was eventually called off due to darkness.
The search resumed at 8:30 a.m. on Friday morning and a body was found about two hours later.
No foul play is suspected in the death and the name of the woman has not been released.
The B.C. Coroner's Service is investigating the incident.
