There's nothing that makes Bif Naked happier than when a local fundraising event directly benefits local people. That's why she's the guest speaker during the Evening of Pink held Sept. 18 at the Civic Centre.
"All the money that will be raised at the Evening of Pink will go to purchase equipment for the local hospital to help the community," Naked said, who is a breast cancer survivor.
"I just have to say as a young female, diagnostics saved my life - equipment saved my life. So many women my age are in the chemo ward in Vancouver right now. I've got two girls in their right now in the group that I volunteer with that are from the Yukon and there is nothing for them at home. They have to come here. So Evening of Pink is something that is life-changing for people. Keep the money in Prince George."
