School board trustee Lois Boone may be stepping down because she's tired of doing the government's "dirty work," but Liberal MLA Pat Bell isn't holding the statement against her.
Bell took on a diplomatic tone when he responded to a request for a comment from the provincial government on the reason Boone has given for saying she won't seek reelection next November.
