Sarah Beaudry’s second Olympics start tonight.
The 27-year-old Prince George biathlete has been selected to compete for Canada in the mixed relay, which gets underway at 1 a.m. PT Saturday.
The two-women, two-men relay will also include Emma Lunder of Vernon and the Gow brothers of Canmore, Scott and Christian.
Each will complete two laps of the Olympic course in the mountain village, 220 kilometres from Beijing.
The rest of the Canadian biathlon team – Emily Dickson of Burns Lake. Megan Bankes of Calgary, Jules Brunotte of Sherbrooke, Que., and Adam Runnalls of Calgary, are preparing for the individual events next week. The women’s 15-km individual race is on Sunday (1 a.m. PT) and the men’s 20 km individual event is on Monday (12:30 a.m.).
