School's back in session and so are some of BC Transit's Prince George routes.

Starting Sept. 4, post-secondary students will have an easier time getting to class, thanks to increased service on several routes well-travelled by University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) and College of New Caledonia students.

Communications Manager with BC Transit, Jonathon Dyck, says they see 60,000 to 80,000 more customers a month on BC Transit in Prince George when post-secondary and secondary schools are in session compared to summer months

The fall changes include increased service to UNBC, as well as reinstated trips on the following routes:

  • 12 Parkridge
  • 15 Downtown/UNBC
  • 17 UNBC
  • 18 Spruceland
  • 55 Victoria
  • 96 Kelly via N. Nechako
  • 97 Kelly
