The Friday, Dec. 28, 2018 draw for the $39.5-million Lotto Max jackpot was claimed by a single ticket that was sold in South Delta. The ticket matched all seven numbers.
Expect a rush of people checking their tickets today.
All lottery winners have 52 weeks from the draw date printed on their ticket to come forward to claim their prize. The British Columbia Lottery Corporation will announce the specific retail location that sold the ticket after the winner has come forward.
The jackpot for the next Lotto Max draw on Jan. 4 will be approximately $10 million.
