Tickets are now on sale for the 2016 BC SPCA Lottery for animals in need.
The top prize is $10,000 and there are daily cash prizes throughout June, with $5,000 'Lucky Mutt Monday' prizes and $5,000 prizes on 'TGIF' Fridays. There's also an early bird draw on May 9 for $8,000 (the early bird ticket purchase deadline is April 24).
Proceeds go toward medical care, sheltering, spay and neuter services, advocacy, adoption, foster care programs and other services provided for homeless and abused animals in BC SPCA shelters across the province.
