The B.C. Liberal Party is lining up a trio of all-candidate leadership debates open to party members that will include Prince George.
The first debate will be held in Kamloops on Feb. 2, followed by a debate in Prince George on Feb. 3 and another in Vancouver on Feb. 12.
The debate in Prince George will coincide with an annual Liberal leadership dinner -- that will honour outgoing Premier Gordon Campbell -- to be held in the evening on Feb. 3. The debate will be held during the day, prior to the dinner.
All the details surrounding the debates have not been finalized as the party is talking to the candidates, B.C. Liberal Party executive director Chad Pederson said Monday.
It is known the debates will be open to the media, but not to the general public, he said.
The Liberals will choose a leader on Feb. 26.
