B.C. government's Northern Health COVID-19 regional townhall scheduled for April 22

Those in the Northern Health Authority will have a chance to hear health officials speak as well as ask questions about COVID-19 during a live townhall being hosted by the provincial government. 

B.C. Minister of Health Adrian Dix announced yesterday (April 15) online townhalls would be held in each region in the coming weeks. 

Northern Health's designated meeting is set for Wednesday, April 22 from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. hosted by Peace River South MLA Mike Bernier and Stikine MLA Doug Donaldson, also the Minister of Forests, Lands, Natural Resources Operations and Rural Development. 

Northern Health CEO Cathy Ulrich and Interim Chief Medical Officer Dr. Raina Fumerton will also be a part of the event.

As of this publication, there are currently 30 test-positive COVID-19 cases in northern B.C. after two new ones were reported by Dr. Bonnie Henry yesterday.
