It's not every day a pair of bald eagles crash land in your yard.
Paul Simpson photographed a pair of entangled eagles that crashed into a Tsawwassen yard this week. He shared the image on the Tsawwassen Loop Facebook group.
Simpson wrote that the eagles often have territorial battles that end up with them crashing to the ground with their talons locked together.
“Fortunately, the owner called OWL Wildlife Rescue and the birds were quickly separated, suffering only minor injuries,” the post read. “Pretty amazing what can go on in our own backyards!”
