Work has begun to shore up Hoferkamp Road.
The city has contracted GeoStabilization International to do the work intended to stabilize the bank that has experienced serious erosion over the past few years around McMillan Creek and to re-establish the required road width.
During the work, which is expected to be finished by the end of September, Hoferkamp Road will be restricted to local traffic and users should expect delays.
The city budgeted $500,000 in the 2015 capital plan for the project, funded out of the general infrastructure reinvestment fund.
