Bail hearings result in adjournments

A pair of bail hearings resulted in adjournments in court at Prince George on Tuesday. The hearing for Joseph Fowlie was adjourned until May 3. He was arrested March 22 for the sexual assault of a 62-year-old woman in the Beaverly area.

A pair of bail hearings resulted in adjournments in court at Prince George on Tuesday.

The hearing for Joseph Fowlie was adjourned until May 3. He was arrested March 22 for the sexual assault of a 62-year-old woman in the Beaverly area.

The 34 year old faces charges including: aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault with a weapon/threats/bodily harm, kidnapping without the use of a firearm, assault with a weapon, uttering threats to cause bodily harm and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

Also on Tuesday, the bail hearing for Lawrence T. Gross, was adjourned until May 3. He was arrested Jan. 4 following a home invasion on Quince Street.

Gross faced charges including: break and enter with intent to commit a crime, robbery with a firearm, knowingly possessing of a firearm without a licence, disguising the face with intent to commit a crime, possessing a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition, possession of a firearm contrary to an order, possession of stolen property, pointing a firearm, unlawful confinement, uttering threats and assault.
