Back alley stabbing

Prince George RCMP are investigating a stabbing that took place on Sunday afternoon at the 7-11 store on Queensway. A 29-year-old man was stabbed in the back alley behind the store about 4:30 p.m. and was taken to University Hospital of Northern B.C.

Prince George RCMP are investigating a stabbing that took place on Sunday afternoon at the 7-11 store on Queensway.

A 29-year-old man was stabbed in the back alley behind the store about 4:30 p.m. and was taken to University Hospital of Northern B.C. where surgery to his arm and back is required. He remains in serious, but stable condition, Cst. Lesley Smith, media relations officer, said Monday.

Police investigating the incident believe drugs may have played a role in the targeted attack.
