An axe-wielding masked man robbed a convenience store in the 200 block of Anderson Drive in Quesnel Tuesday morning just after 5.
The suspect is six feet tall, medium build, wearing a black mask.
He took a small amount of cash, lottery tickets and cigarettes.
There were no injuries.
The suspect fled the scene in an older model, white SUV.
The investigation is ongoing.
