A lone male was walking along River Walk near Front Street when he was assaulted and robbed by a group of youth on June 10 at about 11:30 p.m.
Two of the youth, one armed with a baseball bat assaulted the man causing extensive injuries, including a broken leg, which required surgery to repair.
The youth then took the man's wallet and proceeded across the walking bridge to the west side of Quesnel.
There are still no suspects in the case and officers investigating are asking for the public's assistance in identifying those responsible for the crime.
