B.C. wood products have already been getting exposure in Mongolia.
Now, a delegation from the Asian country has travelled to British Columbia to view wood-producing facilities and construction techniques first hand.
The group is spending some time this week in Prince George, visiting wood-producing facilities like Winton Global Homes Division and Dunkley Lumber, but also UNBC, the not-yet-completed Sandman Inn and Heather Park Middle School, which all feature the use of wood construction.
The Mongolians, who include builders and a director of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology, are here to find out more about Canadian building and wood production methods.
