Arson is the suspected cause of a fire that broke out in a 1200 block Johnson Street home early Wednesday morning.
Called to the scene at 2 a.m., firefighters extinguished the blaze and the home's lone occupant, a 44-year-old woman, escaped injury.
"A police arson investigator and the forensic identification section will be attending the scene this morning," RCMP said. "The investigation is in the beginning stages."
