Prince George RCMP are seeking the public's help as they investigate a case of arson in the 8900 block on Sintich Road
On Oct. 28 members were told a fire had been deliberately set inside the cab of a semi-tractor trailer unit, causing extensive damage to the entire cab and sleeper unit of the truck.
The flames from the fire also damaged a passenger bus parked nearby as well as a third vehicle parked in front of the truck. The bus sustained heat and fire damage to the siding and could have been completely destroyed if it were not for the quick response from Prince George fire crews. Total damage is estimated at more than $30,000.
RCMP are asking anyone with information in regards to this arson or the identity of a possible suspect, to contact the Prince George Detachment at 250-561-3300 or Call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). If your information leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a cash reward.
